Programs

The Play Loft offers quality education at affordable prices. We run an exceptional daycare program that includes a structured learning time during the day for preschool. Because we offer daycare and a high-quality preschool program, parents will not need to pay for their child to attend preschool elsewhere. We also welcome 3-5 year old preschool only friends to join us!

Infant & Toddlers

  • Infants: We nurture infants throughout the day using an eat, play, sleep pattern and offer stage-based toys designed by experts so tummy time can also build neural connections. We help develop language and social cues with our tiniest little ones through verbal, interactive play. We have limited openings for the enrollment of infants to ensure plenty of attention and cuddle time for each baby.

  • Toddlers: Our toddler daily routine includes time for talking, walking, exploring, climbing, jumping, running and and all the fun toddlers have as they bustle around with joyful energy. Interactive games, story time, music and movement, companion and independent play all support a growing vocabulary, social skills, and creative thinking. Age appropriate, unique toys are offered to encourage toddlers to explore and develop new skills.

Preschoolers & Kinders

  • Daycare & Preschoolers: We offer a program that takes early childhood education to the next level. The daycare schedule has a dedicated preschool time, interspersed with companion play, guided play, and fun independent practice of new skills throughout the day. Each child receives individualized support to reach important milestones. Going well beyond the 123's and ABC's, we incorporate cognitive development games, social skills, physical abilities, and emotional resilience. We intentionally design our environment, activities, and routines for joyful and effective learning during each developmental stage. We provide a well-rounded foundation for your child's educational journey and promote self-governance, curiosity, and problem-solving skills in our littles. Our play-based approach is designed to inspire a love of learning in young children, while fostering their development in all areas. With experienced and caring teachers, we create a warm and stimulating environment where each child is valued and supported.

    • Little Learners: We do not offer a "preschool only" option for our 2 year old's because their preschool activities are intertwined with their entire day and tailored to their developmental stage.

    • Shining Stars: Our 3, 4, and 5 year old daycare plus preschool students get specialized attention throughout the day in addition to the targeted preschool activities with their Preschool Friends.

    • Preschool Friends: This is our preschool only program. 3, 4, & 5 year old preschool friends can join us Mondays & Wednesdays from 9:00-11:30. Multiple teachers allow for targeted instruction to meet the varied learning needs of the 3, 4, and 5 year old's. A Tues/Thurs program will be added, as needed.

  • Kindergartners: Half-day kindergarten students join with the older preschoolers for learning adventures and do skill development at their ability level. Midday and after-school transportation may be arranged. For full-day kindergarten students, please see our after-school information in the section below.

School-Age & Homeschool Support

  • School-Age Program- We enroll a few children (mostly siblings to our littles) for after-school and summer care.

    • After-School Care: Whether your child wants a quiet activity to relax or needs to burn off energy in a more active setting, we've got you covered. After a snack, students can enjoy some decompression time, adult interaction, a listening ear, and play while parents finish up their workday. Whether it is using Legos, puppet shows, crafts, books, dress-ups, plays, puzzles, piano playing, obstacle courses, dance parties, blanket forts, or just to run and play with friends, fun and creativity is endless... and laughter fills the air.

    • Adventureland Summer Care: The Play Loft provides a fun, educational experience for 6-11 year old kids during summer care. Using group games, art projects, science experiments, cooking and gardening activities, building materials and more, join us for a summer full of adventure and discovery!

  • Homeschool Support: Homeschooling can be a wonderful experience for both you and your child, but it can also be challenging. That's why we offer a one-room schoolhouse model of homeschool support that includes morning study time, afternoon play, student coaching (support, not full lessons), and social interactions with other children. Our approach is designed to help your child explore and play while learning in a supportive environment.
